No charge is made for the use of the Index of Professional Nursing Governance (IPNG) or the Index of Professional Governance (IPG) if formal permission is submitted and then granted. Consultants from the Forum for Shared Governance can assist facilities in handling data by providing a codebook and instructions for data entry, statistical tests, and analysis.

Fee-based consultation is also available for complete data management and reporting. The fee depends on the number of surveys and the time frame. An estimate can be obtained by contacting the Forum.

Free use of the instrument with free consultation may also be available for graduate students and researchers, particularly those conducting outcomes investigations.

Any revenue generated from the use of the IPNG and IPG is used to support the work of the Forum for Shared Governance and the development and maintenance of its website, www.sharedgovernance.org.
